You Will Never Let Go

Sometimes we think faith means "we have to try very hard to hold on to God," but the truth is—"God has never let go of us." Even if your faith is as small as a mustard seed, even if you feel like you're letting go, the Lord's strong hand still holds you firmly.

This path is sometimes really difficult to walk on; there are many stones, and the wind is very strong. Sometimes, I feel like I'm about to slip and fall, and I panic, desperately trying to grab onto something to keep from falling. I admit my hands are weak, and my faith fluctuates; I often say I will follow You, but the next second I want to give up. But, Lord, thank You for telling me that the key to this relationship is not how tightly I hold onto You, but how firmly You hold onto me. When I let go, I find that Your hand is still tightly holding mine. You said You love me, and you love me to the end; You chose me, and you will not regret it. This sense of security is not because I am great, but because You are faithful. I know that no matter how many times I fall, You will not let go.
